Depot Controller/Supervisor

Full-Time Permanent Position

 

Oriel Oil Ltd. is a leading fuel distribution company in the North East based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

 

We are seeking an experienced & motivated individual to enhance all aspects of administration in our Depot. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organised person who has the ability to work on their own initiative, and ideally will have 4-5 years of practical experience.

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

• General Office Administration
• Daily operational support to Management.
• Supporting other team members regarding general sales, marketing, accounts and business development.
• Dealing with public footfall and customer telephone enquiries.
• Liaising with suppliers.
• Debtors’ management.
• Liaising with other Group companies to maximise efficiency in operations.
• Stock monitoring and control, to include daily/weekly/monthly stock balancing.
• Processing & overview of sales orders, invoices, account administration and remittances, and administration of sales books & records.
• Ad hoc office administration and other operational duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within the fuel distribution industry, although not essential, will be advantageous.
• Confident people & communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.
• Proficient computer skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel & Word.
• Stock control experience will be advantageous.
• Book-keeping or accounts experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills with an ability to work both with a team and on their own initiative.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
